The Backflip Member Reward Program (“Backflip Rewards”) is designed to enhance the experience of individual residential real estate investors who utilize our tech platform for property analysis and to secure fix and flip loans. By fostering user engagement and encouraging referrals, our goal is to create a community-driven ecosystem that benefits both the users and the growth of our platform.

Terms and Conditions

 

In order to participate in Backflip Rewards, you must be a Backflip Member in good standing and at least 18 years of age. Backflip retains the right to change the terms and conditions of its rewards program at any time, including how points are earned, the amounts of points earned, and the cash value of those points. By continuing to participate in Backflip Rewards after the posting of such modifications, you shall be deemed to accept such modifications.

 

Backflip will provide Members with a unique URL that can be provided to prospective Backflip members (the “Referral Link”). To be a Qualifying Referral, referred members must be a person who:

 

• Has never previously been a Backflip member, or created a Backflip account under any email address or alias;

 

• Does not currently have a Backflip account either individually or through a business entity where the person is a principal, officer, or director; and

 

• Completes the registration process with Backflip using the referrer’s Referral Link. If a referred member registers with Backflip using any other link or method, the registration will not count as a Qualifying Referral.

 

• Reasonably appears at Backflip’s sole discretion to be a prospective beneficiary of Backflip’s technology or capital products.

 

The Referral Link should only be provided directly to your personal acquaintances. Additionally, you may not use any paid advertisement to promote Backflip Rewards, including paid search marketing, advertisements, affiliate networks, paid email campaigns or other similar methods. You may not use a Referral Link to create a new Backflip Account for yourself or any company where you are a principal, officer, director, or otherwise have an employment or contractual relationship. By participating in Backflip Rewards, you agree that you have a personal relationship with each of your referrals or otherwise have the necessary consents to submit their information to the Referral Program.

 

Backflip is the owner of all intellectual property related to the Referral Link, including and without limitation the Services and related technology; Backflip Data; and copyrights, patents, trade secrets, trade or service marks, brands, logos, and other intellectual property incorporated into each of the foregoing (the “Backflip Property”). You agree that you will adhere to the license terms of any Backflip Marks and that you will not violate or infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. Backflip grants you a limited, nonexclusive, revocable, and nontransferable license to use Backflip Property as permitted solely by these terms and conditions. Any information obtained in connection with Backflip Rewards will be collected, processed and used in accordance with Backflip’s Privacy Policy.

 

You agree that you will not “spam” anyone with invitations to join the Backflip community, and that you at all times will remain compliant with CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, and other applicable laws. The following specific activities are prohibited:

 

• Mass emailing, texting or messaging people you do not personally know;

 

• Use of automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute, post or respond to your Referral Code;

 

• Use of scripts, programed or automatic dialers to send invites or to communicate Referral Codes; 

 

• Creating or facilitating the creation of multiple accounts for a single user;

 

• Creating or facilitating the creation of fake accounts or accounts that contain false or inaccurate information about the user; and 

 

• Posting Referral Codes on event or venue pages without express permission from the event or venue owner.

 

Backflip reserves the right to withhold, deny or cancel any points and/or terminate your Backflip Account if we, in our sole discretion, deem the award or redemption of any points or other benefits associated with Backflip Rewards as fraudulent, abusive, unethical, suspicious or otherwise inconsistent with these terms and conditions, our Terms of Use,  Privacy Policy, or any other applicable laws or regulations.
